“Ghost,” the brand new Broadway musical adapted from the hit film, will be the featured “Night on Broadway” performance during the summer 2012 edition of the New York International Gift Fair (NYIGF). Tickets for the Monday, August 20, performance, which are normally priced at $137, are specially priced for NYIGF participants at $89 each. Tickets will be available for sale online at www.nyigf.com/programs after April 15.

“The premiere of “Ghost” is receiving rave reviews, and we’re excited to get these tickets so early in its Broadway run,” says Christian Falkenberg, NYIGF director and GLM vice president. “This NYIGF's 'Night on Broadway' is a quintessential New York City experience, which summer market-goers should not miss.”

Based on the love story from the 1990 motion picture, “Ghost” stages the fantasy of Sam and Molly, a young couple whose connection takes a shocking turn after Sam’s untimely death. Trapped between two worlds as a ghost, Sam refuses to leave Molly when he learns she is in grave danger. Desperate to communicate with her, he turns to a storefront psychic, Oda Mae, who helps him protect Molly and avenge his death.

“Ghost” is adapted by its Academy Award–winning screenwriter Bruce Joel Rubin, and directed by Tony Award–winner Matthew Warchus. The original score is by multiple Grammy Award–winners Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard, and includes the emblematic “Unchained Melody” by The Righteous Brothers.

“Ghost” is playing at New York City’s Lunt-Fontanne Theatre at 205 West 46th Street. More details are available online at www.ghostonbroadway.com.
